Newborn Portraiture

Not only do you want to have adorable newborn portraits, you want to have SAFE and injury free newborn portraits, right? Our studio is actually a local studio who teaches safety to other artists. We take this practice, the posing and wrapping of your most precious little one, very seriously. 

We get many images for you to choose between and YOU get control over what is retouched and preserved in the digital collection you purchase.  The best thing? Your digital collection comes with a complimentary art gift! You get to choose which one when you pick out your digitals! Usually with newborn sessions, you get to choose THE SAME DAY! We provide this same day service so you don’t have to worry about the baby-care logistics of coming back in the next few weeks.

FAQ

Q: When should I book my session?

A: Ideally around the second trimester to ensure you are in the “time block” around your due date. If you had NO IDEA that newborn portraits needed to be booked so early, call Sarah at 913-709-8655 to see if you can be squeezed in! We love any excuse for baby snuggles and will to try to accommodate 

 

Q: When do you typically take Newborn Portraits?

A: Our ideal studio time is between 7-14 days old. A little over is fine… but the older they get, the more difficult the session and the LONGER the session

 

Q: Do I need to bring props and clothes?

A: Only if there is something very special to you. We have a very large assortment of props, wraps, clothes, bows and MORE!
